Support
Questions, problems or ideas? Send an email. I read each message.
When you write about a problem, please tell me your device (for example iPhone 15 or iPad Air), your iOS version and the App version. You can find the App version at the bottom of Settings in the App.
Common questions
I do not get the daily reminder
Make sure that the reminder is on in the App and that one or more days are selected. Then open the iPhone Settings app, go to Notifications, then Breathe Flow, and turn on Allow Notifications. Focus modes can also hide the reminder.
On a day when you already finished a session, the reminder stays quiet. This is on purpose.
The Apple Health switch does not stay on
The App needs your permission to save Mindful Minutes. Open the Health app, tap your profile picture, then Apps, then Breathe Flow, and turn on Mindful Minutes. Then turn on the switch in the App again.
Does the App read my health data?
No. The App only writes finished sessions as Mindful Minutes. It never reads health data. Read the privacy policy for more.
Can I move my history to a new device?
The App has no account and does not send your data to a server, so it cannot sync your history between devices. Your history stays on the device where you made it.
Can I use the App with my eyes closed?
Yes. Turn on eyes-closed mode with the eye button on the exercise screen. The App then guides each phase with gentle vibrations.
The flower moves too much for me
Turn on Reduce Motion in the iPhone Settings app, under Accessibility, then Motion. The flower then uses calmer motion. The App also follows your text size setting.
Is the App free?
Yes. Breathe Flow is free, with no ads and no in-app purchases. If you want to help, you can find a Buy Me a Coffee link on the Support screen in the App.
A note on health
Breathe Flow is for relaxation. It is not a medical device and does not give medical advice. If you feel dizzy or unwell during an exercise, stop and breathe normally. If you have a medical condition, speak to your doctor before you start a new breathing practice.
